Veterinary Technician

Brittany

Brittany was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. She has moved throughout the lower 48 over the past ten years, but has made Alaska her home since 2017. She is currently pursuing her second degree (this one in Veterinary Technology) through the Penn foster program, and hopes to become a licensed technician in the near future. Brittany completed a study abroad program in South Africa, focused on wildlife care, treatment, and conservation.  She is also fear free level two certified and tries her best to make each visit to the clinic a happy one for both pets and owners. She enjoys helping with client education and has a passion for phlebotomy, pocket pets, and exotics.

When she is not at the clinic, she volunteers at the Reindeer farm in Palmer, enjoys hiking, camping, road trips, and photography. At the end of the day she is greeted by: her dog Novella, her cat Thackery Binx, and a leopard gecko.
