Dr. Gardner Montgomery grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. After attending the University of Colorado, with a major in history, he made the decision to pursue veterinary medicine. His love of James Herriot guided him to accept an offer to attend The University of Glasgow in Scotland for his veterinary studies.

Dr. Montgomery loves surgery, internal medicine and the relationships he forms with his patients and their families.

When away from work Dr. Montgomery enjoys alpine skiing, hiking and camping with his wife and two children. He also likes relaxing in front of the fire with his 3 dogs and 1 cat.
