Dr. Jackie Frederickson grew up in Minnesota and received her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced for a short time in Wisconsin before moving to Alaska with her husband, Dr. Paul Frederickson. In addition to her love of cats and dogs, she has a special interest in exotic mammals, birds and reptiles and stays abreast of cutting edge medicine by attending specialty conferences in these areas.
