Dr. Karen Myhre grew up on a farm in Indiana, receiving her degree from Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Seattle for some years, and that is where Dr. Karen and her husband, John, raised their two daughters.

Now the empty nesters have migrated north to Anchorage, and Dr. Karen has settled in here at Hillside Pet Clinic. She and her husband enjoy exploring Alaska and relaxing with their dog and two cats.
